Carrow Road is the name of a
football stadium, in which Norwich City, of the English Premier
League play their home games. The team moved to Carrow Road
following occupation of various other stadia from 1902.
Carrow Road was originally opened in 1935, and the record
attendance for a home game at the stadium was 43,984 in 1963,
well before all-seater stadia became mandatory for top division
English football clubs. After recent expansions, the ground
hosted a capacity all-seated crowd of 25,522 for a game against
Manchester United on 9 April 2005, which was the highest for a
considerable time. |

the Barclay Stand, the Norwich and Peterborough Stand, the City
Stand and the new Jarrold Stand to the south of the stadium,
