Roberto Soldado Rillo (born May 27, 1985) is a player with the
Spanish football club Real Madrid, who plays as a striker.
Soldado scored the winning goal against Olympiakos (Greece) in
the UEFA Champions League game corresponding to the 2nd game of
the Group Stage of the 2005-2006 UEFA Champions League
Roberto joined Real Madrid at the age of 13 from Valencia. He
plays for Real Madrid`s reserve side Real Madrid B and also for
the main Real Madrid team. He has scored crucial goals for Real
Madrid this season like the winning goal in the Champions League
against Olympiakos, the equalizer against Osasuna and also
scored in the Copa del Ray match against Atletico Bilbao in Real
Madrid 4-0 win over them.
