Biography
Juan Pablo Sorín (born May 5, 1976 in Buenos Aires) is an
Argentinian football player who, as of 2005, is playing for
Villarreal in the Spanish Liga.
Prior to joining Villareal in 2004, Sorín played for Argentinos
Juniors (1994-95), Juventus (1995-96), River Plate (1996-99),
Cruzeiro (2000-01 and 2004), Lazio (2002), Barcelona (2003), and
Paris Saint-Germain (2003-04).
Sorín played for Argentina at the 2002 World Cup and has
compiled over 50 caps for his country.
He has an eccentric style of play, and, despite being played in
defensive roles, is often found up front attacking, using his
heading skill to great effect.
