Biography
Luis Airton Barroso Oliveira (born 24 March 1969 in São Luis,
Maranhão, Brazil) is a Brazilian-Belgian football (soccer)
player, who spent most of his playing career in Italy.
Oliveira played for Anderlecht in Belgium, before moving to
Italy, where ha has played for Cagliari, Fiorentina, Bologna,
Como, Catania, Foggia, and Venezia. He is currently playing for
Lucchese of Serie C1/B.
A naturalized Belgian citizen, he has earned 31 caps for Belgium
and played for his adopted country in the 1998 World Cup.
