Emmanuel Olisadebe (born December 22, 1978 in Warri, Nigeria) is
a Polish football striker. He became a citizen of Poland after
he spent many years playing for Polonia Warszawa, he has also
played for the national team. Olisadebe is currently on loan to
Portsmouth from Greek club Panathinaikos.
In 2002, he broke the record for the greatest number of goals
scored by a Polish player in the World Cup, including
qualification (9, only one of which came in the final tournament).
Previously the honor belonged to Grzegorz Lato for the 1974
World Cup with 8 (of which 7 came in the finals in West Germany).
