Biography
Kakha Kaladze (born February 27, 1978 in Samtredia)
is a Georgian football (soccer) player, who currently plays for
AC Milan of the Italian Serie A.
Prior to joing AC Milan, Kaladze played for Dinamo Tbilisi
(1993-97) and Dinamo Kiev (1998-2000). A key part of the
Georgian national team, Kaladze has been capped over 40 times
for his country.
In 2001, Kakha's brother Levan was kidnapped in Georgia, with a
ransom of $600,000 demanded. On May 6, 2005, Georgian police
officers found eight dead bodies in Svanetiya County. The police
believes that one of those eight bodies is Levan Kaladze.
