Njitap Geremi

Gérémi Sorele Ndjitap Fotso (born December 20, 1978 in Bafoussam) is a Cameroonian football player who, as of 2005, is playing for Chelsea in the English Premier League.

Ndjitap was part of the gold medal-winning Cameroon team at the 2000 Summer Olympics. He also played at the 2002 World Cup and the 2004 African Nations Cup and has been capped over 60 times for his country.

Prior to joining Chelsea in 2003, Gérémi played for Genclerbirligi, Real Madrid, and Middlesbrough. He was Middlesborough's player of the season for 2002-03, but he has struggled to win a regular place at Chelsea due to the exceptional strength in depth of Chelsea's squad. Despite this, the 2005/2006 Premiership season has seen him already score twice, against Sunderland and Liverpool.
