Diego Ribas da Cunha, also known as Diego, (born February 28, 1985 in Ribeir�o Preto, Brazil) is a Brazilian footballer. He was signed by Santos FC at age 12. Diego developed in the Santos youth system, making his first team debut at age of 16 in the Rio-S�o Paulo Championship in 2002 and in the same year owned the "Campeonato Brasileiro". He was transferred to FC Porto in July 2004 for �7 million.
