Denis Ramón Caniza (born August 29, 1974) is a Paraguayan football defender.

Caniza, a regular in the Paraguay national football team, started his career in Olimpia of Paraguay. He also played in Club Atlético Lanús of Argentina, Santos Laguna of Mexico and is currently playing in Cruz Azul of Mexico.
