Juan Arango (born May 16/17, 1980) is a soccer player. Born in
Maracay, Venezuela, Arango plays for La Vinotinto. Nicknamed the
"Caribbean Hurricane" by Luis Omar Tapia (ESPN) ,he is regarded
as one of the best Venezuelan players ever. Known as "Arangol"
in Venezuela , he is loved in his native country.
Arango is one of the only Venezuelan players ever to play for a
first division Spanish team (Mallorca). He has become one of the
best players in this team , and helped them avoid relegation in
the 2004-2005 season. Arango is a quality player , left footed
by birth , who plays in the left of midfield or as a forward. |
